In Cinderella man the main character is James J. Braddock, a famous boxer during the great depression era. He had a loving wife and 3 children. He was a great boxer before black tuesday and once black tuesday came around the boxer refs and cashers rigged his fight as a tie so they wouldnt have to pay him any money for the fight. He then struggled trying to put food on the table for his wife and children. He went to the dock to look for work but usually only worked about one day because thats all they needed help for. Then one day his fight manager told him about a fight that he could possibly do to get a little bit money. He won the fight and was so good in the fight they decided to let him continue fighting. He then went on to fight the world champion and knocked him out. He had won the world championship and had made enough money to feed his kids and move to a nice home.
